About Our Baseball Bat Sleeves

​Barrel Max (formally Barrel Armor) was founded in 2011 by Luis A Garcia. Mr. Garcia has coached youth baseball and softball for over 24 years. With his own two children involved in softball and baseball, Mr. Garcia has attended thousands of practices and games over the years.

 In trying to keep his daughter's bat warm during a cold morning at a softball tournament, it occurred to Mr. Garcia that perhaps placing "hand warmers" on the sides of the bat barrel would do the trick. That's the day the idea of Barrel Armor was born! Utilizing his mother's sewing experience; he was guided on such matters as purchasing fabrics and creating a pattern. After the first "home-made" prototype bat warmer sleeve was created in his mother's kitchen (that's where small sewing machine was), it was sent to a factory and Barrel Max evolved to what it is today....the hottest patent pending baseball/softball product around.

Barrel Max combined the sleek design of a baseball bat sleeve with the innovative product of hand warmers. Barrel Max started with just a black/red combo and has recently rolled out 2 more color combination assortments (black/silver and black/royal) to raving reviews by testers and resellers.
